Excercise
I love to walk, I usually walk for about 1 hour in the morning. That probably gets in about a little over 2 miles. I have a weight set at home so I get a little bit of weight training in every other day.
dining
I also love to eat out, this pretty much nullifies my excercise, but as long as I don't go overboard, I will continue to do both.
My favorite places to go varies, I love steak houses, especially The Butcher Shop in Kearny, I also love Japanese, especially Ynaka. For special occasions, I like to go to Mister A's downtown, 5th and Laurel, outstanding service and great food.
sports
I also love sports, all sorts, Basketball, Football, Baseball at all levels. when I am not programming, or watching Star Trek series, I am listening to XX Sports Radio.

about edwin ortiz
As you all know, my name is Edwin Ortiz, I was born in the Philippines. I came to the U.S. in 1974, my family lived in Los Angeles for about 10 years, and then we moved to a place across the Puget Sound from Seattle called Bremerton. Bremerton is a Navy town and my father worked at PSNS (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard) and my mother worked as a programmer for EDS which was owned by Ross Perot at the time.
I went to Olympic High School and graduated there and then went down here to San Diego and worked odd jobs for a very long time, then decided to go to back to school and earn some type of degree. I started at Palomar College, but it was slow and my schedule was not as flexible, thats how I ended up at Coleman College. After I recieved a B.S. degree in CIS, I decided to keep learning, money is very low, so I decided to go back to Palomar College and take classes there that was not offered at Coleman at the time. My second time around Palomar, I took only programming classes.
Currently, I am interning at AV Supply in Kearny Mesa, I basically just update their website, create new pages, write press releases, maintain RSS feeds and train other interns.
In the future, I hope to be a part of a software development team somewhere here in San Diego. As for continuing my education, I want to earn enough money so that I could afford to take classes to keep up with new technology.
